Independent contractor or employee?

How do you bill for your services?

Our standard billing procedure is to bill monthly. We require payment upon receipt. All standard forms of payment are accepted including credit cards.

How long should I keep my records on hand?

IRS suggested record retention times are found in publication 17 for individual taxpayers (www.irs.gov/pub/irs-pdf/p17.pdf) and publication 583 for businesses (www.irs.gov/pub/irs-pdf/p583.pdf). Publication 583 has additional information related to starting a business.

What is the best way to contact you?

How should I deliver my files for my project

We prefer that your materials be in a computer accounting program, but we have taken materials in almost every imaginable form. Contact us with questions about specific software packages.

What role will you play during or before my audit?

Before the audit, we will perform normal audit procedures and make sure all required audit documentation is accounted for. During the audit, I will work with your auditor to make sure they have all the required documents so the process goes as smoothly as possible.
